After a postponement from Thursday September 20th the Osmond cross country team got to race. Some of the Tigers were scheduled to run at the meet in Creighton, but it was canceled due to poor course conditions, so the entire team traveled to the Lakeview Golf Course.
Because the date of the meet was moved teams like South Sioux City, Wayne, and BRLD did not attend. There was still a high level of competition as a pair of Crofton runners finished first and second. Winning time was 17:00.38. They were followed by four Norfolk Catholic runners. Next was a pair of Tigers, Johnson Chishiba finished in 7th place (18:14.05) and Jared Bessmer 8th (18:15.88), both were near their best times ever. Graysen Schultze was 10th (18:32.82), Ryan Schmit 16th (19:26.13), Aaron Chishiba 18th (19:44.72) and Kaden Polt 20th (20:09.35).
Alexander Heiman was the runner-up in the junior varsity division (22:09.91) and Connor vonRentzell was 8th (24:44.45).

“This was a tough meet even without all the teams entered” noted Coach Joe Ortmeier. “I was pleased with the way we competed especially since it was a last minute change for some of our kids. The times looked pretty good also.”
