            The Osmond Cross Country team will be led be State qualifier Johnson Chishiba.  The junior has qualified for the State meet the past two seasons finishing in 23^rd place last fall.  Joining Johnson will be letter winners Graysen Schultze, Aaron Chishiba, Ryan Schmit, Kaden Polt, and Zach Alderson.

          Senior runners include Keaton Timmerman, Mason Bykerk, and Justus Maertins.  Junior runners Connor vonRentzell and foreign exchange student Octavio Palacios along with sophomores Bodie True and Hunter Beacom add to the team’s depth.  New to high school 5K distance will be Robert Aschoff, Hudson Schultze, and Karter Johnson.

          Three letter winners lead the girl’s team.  Junior’s Lexi Beacom, Hayle Krienert, and Jozie Kumm will be joined by sophomore Riley Wagner for the first full girl’s team.  “We are pleased that the girls will be in the team races this fall,” noted Coach Joe Ortmeier.

          “Both the boy’s and girl’s teams have some lofty goals and have been working hard to reach them.”

          Kerri Conn will be assisting coach Ortmeier this season.
