It was an overcast day at the Antelope Country Club for the Neligh-Oakdale cross country meet. The Osmond boy’s ran very well again and captured the Championship plaque over Boyd County by five points.
Top finisher for the Tigers was senior Jared Bessmer placing 4th in 17:12 followed closely by Johnson Chishiba in 5th place at 17:14 and Graysen Schultze was 6th in 17:45. Ryan Schmit was the next Tiger to cross the line in 11th place clocked at 18:28 followed by fellow freshman Kaden Polt placing 14th in a time of 18:51. Aaron Chishiba was right behind Kaden in 15th place in a time of 18:59. Connor vonRentzell placed 54 in a time of 25:00.

For the Osmond girl’s Hayle Krienert was the top placer as she collected the 10th place medal in a time of 24:32, Lexi Beacom came in next 11 seconds behind Hayle. Lexi’s 11 place time was 24:43. Jozie Kumm finished 18th in a time of 31:12.
Caydence Krienert led the junior high girls with a 3rd place finish in a time of 10:12 with Erica Heiman right behind her in 4th place in a time of 10:16. Juliana Kumm just missed medaling as she finished in 12th place in 11:15.
Robert Aschoff finished third after strong finishing kick to runner from Stuart. His time was 8:59.
“I thought every runner improved at this meet, not so much because of the times, but their intensity and fitness” Complimented Coach Joe Ortmeier.
