Thursday September 29 the Tigers traveled to Stanton’s Elkhorn Acres Golf Course. A beautiful, breezy day saw the Osmond boy’s XC team finish runner-up to Pierce 47 to 66. Gannon Walsh of Pender won the race in a time of 17:28.41.
Robert Aschoff again was the top Tiger finisher at 8th place in a nice time of 18:40.74. Caleb Miler was next in 15th place timed at 19:32.72. Gavin Geneski was Osmond’s last medal winner coming in at 20th place in a time of 19:50.70. Matthew Alderson placed 23rd and Karter at 26th place. Their times were 20:14.30 and 20:19.12 respectively. Hudson Schultze was 37th in 21:11.58 and Noah Geneski was 40th in 21:21.01 with Jack Berg finishing 51st in 22:45.30.
Keli Aschoff finished 9th by a fraction behind Aylla Weeder of Pierce. Keli’s time was 23:38.84 and Weeder’s time was 23:30.17.
In the junior high race of 2000 meters Rachel Harder finished in 8th place and Charley Aschoff in 9th place. Their times were 9:45.92 and 9:48.69 respectively. Deanna Kumm was 21st in 10:54.66.
Mason True finished in 13th place in a time of 9:23.07.
“We had a good meet, everyone worked hard and competed well,” Coach Ortmeier noted” I’m looking forward to our next meets to see what our kids can do.”
