        Thursday April 26 was the 24^th running of the Norfolk Classic track & field meet.  To compete in this meet you must be one of the top individuals or relay teams in the area no matter the school’s classification.  This year Osmond had two individuals qualify: Haven Schultze and Alex Palu.

          Haven qualified in the 100 meters.  She had a good start and ran a fine race finishing in seventh place in a time of 13.28. 

          Alex qualified in the 200 meters.  He also had a good start and was in the middle of the heat coming around the curve, but was overtaken down the straightaway.  He placed eighth in a time of 23.70. 

          “It is always an honor to compete in this meet and our runners represented our team very well.  I’m proud of their effort.” Praised Coach Joe Ortmeier.
