2019 TeamMates Attend Spring Game
On Saturday, April 13th , the Osmond TeamMates chapter made their way south to Lincoln to watch the Nebraska Cornhuskers annual Red/White football game. The Husker Spring football game with head Coach Scott Frost showed off some of their plays and enthusiasm for the upcoming season. There were 85,946 people in attendance, including 24 Osmond TeamMates mentors and mentees.
The TeamMates mentees took a drug free pledge as a group. TeamMates mentors and mentees were also honored as a delegation in attendance at the game. TeamMates matches meet once a week in school during the academic year. Mentors and mentees usually play board games, shoot hoops, do a craft, or just talk. The mission of the TeamMates Mentoring Program is to impact the world by inspiring youth to reach their full potential through mentoring.
It was a great day for everyone who attended as the weather cooperated with a beautiful day. We thank all of our mentors who were able to make the event another memorable one for our local mentees.
