First match to enjoy the root beer floats

With another school year in session, TeamMates is back in full swing again as well. The group kicked off the year with a Back-to-School Root Beer Social on Tuesday, August 23rd. The matches welcomed each other back as they enjoyed their root beer floats and played different games set up in and out of the school. The games were a Minute-To-Win-It style setup, and the craziest one was a Cheese puff toss. One person wore a shower cap loaded with shaving cream while the other tossed Cheese puffs to see who could get the most to stick in 1 minute.

There have been some changes in all aspects of TeamMates this year as Board Members, mentors, and mentees made changes in their lives. With that said TeamMates still has students that would like to be teamed up, so please consider this great and fun organization. Zero cost, just 1 time per week to have an impact in a youth’s future.
