J.H. Wrestlers Compete at Plainview Invite
The Osmond J.H. Wrestlers competed at the Plainview Invite on Thursday, November 21. The Tigers scored 30.5 points and finished in 11th place out of the 17 teams competing. Battle Creek was the team champion followed by O’Neill and Elkhorn Valley. Individually Osmond was led by Dominic True who won three matches and finished second in the 104 lb. weight bracket.
This is always a tough tournament with a lot of bigger teams competing. Dominic wrestled well winning his first three matches with 2 pins and a technical fall before losing a close 4-0 decision in the finals. Jaxson Vinson also wrestled well winning two matches both my pin and just missing out on a medal. Carson Bolz also wrestled well winning 1 match by pin and losing two close decisions.
