Tigers compete at Clearwater-Orchard Invite

Wrestlers Compete at Clearwater/Orchard

     The Osmond wrestlers competed at the Clearwater/Orchard Invite on Friday, Feb. 1.  The Tigers scored 18 points and finished in 11^th place out of the 13 teams competing.  Millard West was the team champion followed by North Central and Howell-Dodge.  This week the Tigers were led by Alexis Solorzano who finished in 3^rd place in the 170 lb division and Mason Bykerk who finished 4^th at 126 lbs.

      Alexis continues to wrestle well picking up two more wins to bring his season record to 28-16.  Hunter Beacom continues to improve each week.  This week he picked up a win by pin and lost a close 8-6 decision to just miss out on a medal.  Bodie True wrestled hard losing two matches to quality opponents and also coming within one match of a medal.  Mason Bykerk was once again in a very tough 126 lb bracket but picked up a win by pin to come away with a 4^th place finish.
