The Osmond wrestlers competed at the Clearwater/Orchard Invite on Friday, Feb. 1. The Tigers scored 18 points and finished in 11th place out of the 13 teams competing. Millard West was the team champion followed by North Central and Howell-Dodge. This week the Tigers were led by Alexis Solorzano who finished in 3rd place in the 170 lb division and Mason Bykerk who finished 4th at 126 lbs.
Alexis continues to wrestle well picking up two more wins to bring his season record to 28-16. Hunter Beacom continues to improve each week. This week he picked up a win by pin and lost a close 8-6 decision to just miss out on a medal. Bodie True wrestled hard losing two matches to quality opponents and also coming within one match of a medal. Mason Bykerk was once again in a very tough 126 lb bracket but picked up a win by pin to come away with a 4th place finish.
