Tigers hit mats in Plainview
Wrestlers Compete at Plainvew
The Osmond wrestlers competed at the Plainview Invite on Saturday, Jan. 28. The Tigers scored 3 points and finished in 15th place. Team champion was Ord followed by Norfolk Catholic and Plainview.
Osmond’s lone wrestler for the meet was Colton Beacom who finished with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. Colton wrestled well today going 2-2 for the day. Colton received a first round bye before losing to Jake Judge from West Holt in the second round. Colton then came back with a 9-6 dec over Ben Slaymaker of West Holt before losing his next match to Clayton Shoemaker of Ord by a score of 9-1. Because of injury we were down to one wrestler but Colton did a nice job today picking up a couple wins.
