Reikofski Succeeds at Leadership Development Events
Senior Nick Reikofski lead the charge as twelve Osmond FFA Members traveled to Creighton to compete in the District 4 Leadership Development Event Competition on December 5, 2018. Nick, who competed in the Employment Skills LDE, finished the day in second place, earning him the right to compete in the event at the State Convention & Contest in April. Reikofski was one of thirteen individuals who competed in the event at the District competition. Landon Stelling, from Osmond, also competed in Employment Skills earning a blue ribbon.
Other competitors from Osmond included Juniors Zach Alderson and Josh Gansebom earning blue ribbons in Natural Resource Speaking; Junior Madeline Huwaldt earning a blue ribbon in Extemporaneous Speaking; Sophomores Connor Gutz (3rd purple) and Zach Huwaldt (blue ribbon) in Cooperative Speaking; and Freshmen Mason Gansebom (red ribbon) and Ryan Schmit (3rd purple) in Creed Speaking. Also participating in the contest were 8th graders Zach Reikofski, Caden Wingert, and Reese Hanna in the Junior High Quiz Bowl. As a team they earned a red ribbon.
Ryan Schmit and Connor Gutz are serving as alternates for the State Contest in April in their respective events. Great Job at Districts Tigers!
