Lady Tigers named to All-Lewis and Clark list
Tigers earn two on All-Conference list
ALLEN—Two Osmond Tigers girls basketball players earned All-Lewis and Clark Conference recognition for the West Division for their performance throughout the year.
Caitlin Kumm (Jr., G) was one of eight West Division players slated as true “All-Conference” performers. Andrea Schmit (Jr., F/G) made the list of eight Honorable Mention players.
This is Kumm’s second consecutive year being named to the list.
Kumm finished the season scoring 12.2 points per game. She produced 5.4 rebounds per game and had just over three steals per game (Nearly three times more than any other Tiger).
As one of the Tigers’ most reliable free-throw shooters, Kumm scored over a fourth of her points from the line (63-for-96, 66%).
Overall Kumm was 74-for-303 from the field (24%).
Her counterpart Andrea Schmit had a solid season. She led the team in rebounding (6.8/game); she scored 8.4 points per game (59-221, 27%).
Schmit’s shot 44-for-82 from the free-throw line. She had nine blocks and 18 steals.
The other seven girls selected to the All-Conference team were Sara Castanada (Bloomfield), Amber Bruegmann (Bloomfield), Carlee Thies (Randolph), Carlie Nordhues (Randolph), Krissy Kumm (Wausa), Regan Hennings (Wausa), and Sydney Walton (Creighton).
Honorable Mention selections were Renee Kauth (Bloomfield), Jordyn Anderson (Plainview), Catie Williams (Plainview), Nikki Mosel (Plainview), Megan Klienschmit (Wausa), Chelsea Boelter (Creighton), and Cassidy Moeller (Creighton)
