The Osmond Tiger Marching Band participated in the 81st annual Harvest of Harmony parade on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. Placed 155th in the total parade lineup of the 203 component procession, the Osmond Tigers gave a stunning performance complete with flag twirls, horn flashes, and a spectacular “box move.” The Tigers placed 2nd in Class D and 10th overall. They have participated in the Harvest of Harmony parade for over 20 years, and this year’s trophy contributes to their collection of previously-earned 20 trophies from the Harvest of Harmony parade. Drum Majorette Erica Heiman directed the marching band to victory. Chosen to be the Osmond Community School’s representative, Anna Kahny was driven in a convertible that preceded the Osmond Marching Band. The band’s director, Mrs. Ginn, says she is “proud of her Tigers and the discipline they showed.” She looks forward to the next parade in Yankton and is determined to continue showcasing the Osmond Marching Band’s magnificence.
