Osmond-Wausa Partnership Update
On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the Wausa Board of Education met at 8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The purpose of this meeting was to provide information regarding the partnership discussions between the Wausa and Osmond school districts. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was announced that the Wausa Board of Education has scheduled another public meeting on Oct. 4 at 8:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria to continue discussions regarding the partnership discussions between the Wausa and Osmond school district. After the Oct. 4 meeting, a survey will be sent out to the parents of the Wausa students.
Osmond patrons/parents are welcome to attend the Wausa Board of Education public meeting in Wausa on Oct. 4. Patrons/parents are encouraged to read the informational brochure found on the Osmond school website and Facebook page to better understand the purpose and benefits of the possible partnership between these two schools. After the Oct. 4 meeting, a survey will be sent out to parents of the Osmond students to gain feedback regarding this possible partnership.
Attached you will find a comment card that you are welcome to print off and fill out and email or drop off in person to the Osmond School Administration. You may also pick one up at Osmond school office. Everyone is also encouraged to speak with a member of the Osmond School Administration if you have any questions or concerns about the possible partnership. Lastly, patrons/parents may also attend the regularly scheduled October meeting of the Osmond Board of Education on Oct. 9 at 8:00 pm to share comments or concerns with the board members.
