Osmond Community School’s Patron Update - School Board Committee Meeting Postponed.
The Osmond Community School Board remains committed to expanding student opportunities and keeping our patrons informed. During our March 10th board meeting—also reported in the Osmond Republican—it was announced that the Osmond and Wausa school boards had scheduled a committee meeting on March 11 to discuss co-ops, the feasibility study, and plans for a joint board meeting.
However, we want to inform our patrons that this meeting was postponed by the Osmond board. Approximately an hour before the meeting, we were notified via text that the Wausa board president would be unable to attend, though other Wausa board members were still available. The Osmond board committee felt it was essential for both presidents and superintendents to be present for this discussion, so we requested that the meeting be rescheduled.
